THE Waltham Forest Girls' Primary Football League completed its season with Hillyfield Primary School defeating Selwyn Primary School 3-0 in the League Play off Final at the Douglas Eyre Sports Ground.
It was Hillyfield's first league success, though they were unable to complete a league and cup double.
A week earlier and at the same venue, Jenny Hammond school won the Dave Pringle League Cup with a 1-0 extra time victory against the Walthamstow side. The new season will kick off in October 2009.
