CREWS from Epping and Harlow were called to a home in Theydon Bois in the early hours of Saturday morning (June 20) after reports that a "large deer" had fallen into a pool.
The deer had fallen in a pool in Little Gregories Lane, Theydon Bois shortly before 6am.
Crews winched the confused animal to safety using a carry strap.
The soggy but unharmed deer was released back into the wild shortly afterwards.
