SPURS and England striker Jermain Defoe has been disqualified from driving for six months for speeding twice on the M11.

The 26-year-old was found guilty of twice breaking a 50mph limit in Chigwell last year and fined £1,500 for failing to tell the authorities who was driving his Land Rover on both occasions.

But the sentence has been suspended pending an appeal.

The footballer, formerly linked to South Woodford glamour model Danielle Lloyd, was also ordered to pay costs of £600.
