This month's Matching Green WI report.
Birthdays were celebrated this month by Pat Ruggins, Ann Skipsey, Mickey Vernon, Jane Yates and Jean Morgan.
Events were read out by our secretary Margaret Chalk and stamps will be collected and donated to Hearing Dogs for the Deaf as requested.
Bunty Leamon announced that the autumn show will be held at Magdelen Laver Village Hall on Saturday September 5 where various arts and crafts will be displayed.
The speaker this month was Gill Newman on the Ancient Art of China Painting.
The raffle was won by Marion Norman.
The next meeting will take place Wednesday August 12 at 2pm at the village hall.
