HIGHAMS PARK: Hundreds take part in community day


GAMES, food and entertainment were enjoyed by all at Highams Park Day.

The community event, held in a football ground in Vincent Road yesterday, attracted hundreds of visitors.

There were displays from the Matsuri School of Karate among the entertainment.

It was the second annual day, organised by the Highams Park Society.

Don't forget we still haven't heard anything from the police yet about the 80 uniformed hooligans captured on shop cctv's from the HP school who went steaming into 3 local shops a few weeks ago.

Not suprised - Highams Park School desperately hanging on to a slowly eroding reputation as a decent school - now sadly awash with inept teaching staff

The Karate was a good idea, we need all the help for defending oneself from a knife or pointed stick.
