POLICE are looking for witnesses to an attack in Chigwell which left a man with severe facial injuries.
The man was found by police in Yellow Pine Way before being taken to hospital but police believe the attack might have taken place nearby in Tercel Path.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm with intent and attempting to pervert the course of justice but has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
The attack took place at 10pm on Wednesday, July 16 at 10pm and both the victim and his attacker are black.
