ANCIENT woodland will be sought out and explored during a guided walk led by Epping Forest Verderer Peter Adams on Saturday, January 24.
Meet at 10.30am at the junction of Keynsham Avenue and Chingford Lane, Highams Park, to visit Woodford Wood and Higham Bushes.
The walk has been organised by the Friends of Epping Forest.
THE Children's Society wants everyone who gives to charity to remember the benefits of Gift Aid when giving to their favourite charity in 2004.
For every £1 donated by UK taxpayers the Inland Revenue gives every charity an extra 28p.
Since it was introduced in 2000, Gift Aid has meant an increase in over £1.2million for The Children's Society.
