YOUNGSTERS are being offered the chance to learn new skills with free training courses in DJ-ing, video production and MC workshops.

Company Que Beat is working with Waltham Forest Youth and Community Service to offer the courses to young people across the borough, ranging from beginners to advanced sessions.

They also include training in music production, web page design, vocal training, flash animation, photoshop and computer skills.

Each course has a list of skills students have to complete to be able to move on to the next level.

The courses, which start in February, are supported by Magic Studios, home to Radio One DJs the Dreem Teem.

Applicants range from 12 to 25 year-olds and students who have completed courses include the Mad Dogg Crew and members of the More Fire Crew.

Youngsters can visit Que Beat at Youth Unlimited, Peel Close, Chingford, on Thursdays between 7pm to 10pm, telephone on 7924 9476 or go to www.que-beat.cjb.net to get more information.
