POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road collision in Loughton in which a motorcyclist died.
The crash happened on the A121 High Road at about 10.35pm last night(Thursday)
A black Mercedes C180 car driven by a 24-year-old man from the Woodford Green area was in collision with a white Yamaha motorcycle ridden by a 28-year-old man from the Loughton area. The rider was certified dead at the scene.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is still in custody this morning.
The road was closed for six hours while police officers carried out their initial investigation.
