A RETAILER awards ceremony was held on a boat on the River Thames for busineses in The Mall.
The awards, now in their eighth year, are carried out each year to recognise businesses in the shopping centre in Selbourne Walk, Walthamstow.
More than 120 people attended the event, including representatives from The Mall head office and staff from the shops.
The winners were chosen by employees at The Mall, who nominated other stores within the centre.
The 2009 winners were: Best Retail Presentation, River Island; Best Independent Retailer, Perfume Mania; Best involvement in Mall Marketing Initiatives, The Body Shop; Health and safety, Gamestation; Shoppers Award and Overall Best Retailer at The Mall, Asda.
