A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a crash on the M25 near Epping.
An air ambulance was called to the incident close to the M11 interchange shortly after 12pm on August 23, but the rider of the red Honda motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident which caused both carriageways to close for nearly two hours.
Investigations have been carried out at the scene where major works are taking place to widen the M25.
The rider is believed to be from Hertfordshire and police are still trying to contact his next of kin.
