The committee members of the Woodford Festival
WITH the excitement of the Wanstead Festival still fresh in the mind, residents up the road in Woodford are getting ready for their own big party.
The Woodford Festival will see more than 100 different events spread over eight days from Saturday, October 3 to Sunday, October 11.
Attractions range from book signings at the Village Bookshop to Ceilidh sessions at Woodford Green Prep School.
Jazz band the Woodford Wheezers - motto: we wheeze to please - will be playing at the Horse and Well pub while a packed programme of plays will be staged at the Redbridge Drama Centre in Churchfields.
