CHILDREN at a Chigwell drama group enjoyed a day dressing up as superheroes as part of a project to educate young people about global warming.
Youngsters at Perform Drama School, which meets at All Saint's Church in Chigwell Row, "flew" for the day in their mission to teach their peers about the three Rs - reducing, reusing and recycling.
The group's head Lucy Quick said: “we decided to tackle this all important subject of climate change with the children by making them superheroes and teaching them about the importance of everyone being a superhero and doing their bit to save the planet.
"It’s a great way of educating our younger generation, who will be the ones who will be the ones to sort this crisis out."
The group, which also has a branch in Loughton, holds weekly sessions for four to eight year olds on a weekly basis.
