ROCKER Rod Stewart is being sued for £2million by his own lawyers.

The Epping-based pop star, who lives on the Copped Hall estate, faces a lawsuit from Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs, Howard & Shapiro, for allegedly failing to pay his legal bills.

The firm, a specialist in entertainment law, claims Stewart has not paid for several high-profile cases it conducted in his defence.

They include a cancelled show in 2000, a trademark infringement case and a lawsuit from a concert promoter.

Stewart is yet to comment on the issue.
