A PHOTO exhibition of the last days of the Stow can be viewed after the closing date was extended.
Visitors now have until Sunday (November 29) to view the ‘Going to the Dogs’ exhibition by local photographer Katherine Green at Vestry House Museum.
To finish the exhibition, Ms Green, will be giving a talk at the museum, in Vestry Road, Walthamstow, on Saturday (November 28) at 12pm.
The exhibition documents the last three months of Walthamstow Greyhound Stadium in Chingford Road through photography and oral history, focusing on the people who worked at the track and contributed to its history.
Ms Green, who trained at Central St Martin’s, was awarded three grants towards the costs of the exhibition including, an Arts Council England award, an Apex Arts grant and an O2 It’s Your Community grant.
