AN EXTENSIVE list of winter walks have been planned by ramblers in Redbridge - giving revellers an ideal chance to work off those extra Christmas pounds.
The annual Festival of Winter Walks will feature hundreds of rambles throughout the UK between Boxing Day and New Year's Day, with several due to take place in the West Essex region.
Walks within easy reach of ramblers in Redbridge include an eight-mile route from Hainault Forest to Abridge on December 30 and a six-mile stroll starting at Theydon Bois tube station on New Year's Day.
