LEYTONSTONE'S Christmas lights will be switched on with a special event today.
The library, Christmas tree and street lights will all be illuminated at the event between 2pm and 4pm.
Special guests include Calum Best and the archdeacon of West Ham.
The event will also include a visit from Father Christmas and 'rodeo reindeer'.
Leyton's lights will follow with an event this Saturday between 2pm and 5pm at Leyton Mills.
