AN EPPING nightspot was transformed into a wild west saloon for a charity night which raised more than £1,500 for disabled children.

The event, at the Speak Easy Bar in the High Street last week, saw a troupe of hunky personal trainers and dancing girls descend on the venue to re-create scenes from the film Coyote Ugly, in which staff strut their stuff on top of a bar.

The evening was held in aid of the Redbridge-based charity The Dream Factory, which provides fun days out and experiences for children with life limiting and life threatening conditions.

Charity head Avril Mills said: "It was an amazing night. The personal trainers came all the way from Brixton and our patron Vicki Michelle came too with her husband all dressed up in cowboy outfits.

"We all had a great time - and fortunately no-one made me go up and dance on the bar.

"I'm very grateful to Robert Bell for letting us use the bar for free on the night, and to everyone that came along and supported us."
