A POPULAR children's trampoling club is to offer sessions to adults for the first time.
The Loughton Flyers Trampoline Club, based at Debden Park High School in Willingale Road, will start hosting two hour adult classes from Saturday January 23 at 11am.
The scheme is being organised by the club in conjunction with Epping Forest District Council.
The authority's assistant sports development officer, Fabrizio Luca Ferrari, said: "If I were to ask you what sport gives the best total body work out most people would answer running or swimming - but they would be wrong.
"This is because studies by NASA scientists show that trampolining is 68 per cent more effective than running and out performs swimming as an all round exercise, but yet requires a lot less effort."
Each session costs £6 an hour or £10 for two hours, or £5 an hour and £8 for two hours if a whole term is booked in advance.
There is also a starting insurance fee of £15.
