TACKLING cancer and heart disease in Waltham Forest will be the theme of a joint public meeting between staff at Whipps Cross University Hospital and Waltham Forest Primary Care Trust.
The event, at the Epicentre, in West Street, Leytonstone, on June 15 aims to get residents to take responsibility for their health and enlist the support of voluntary groups to help tackle poor health in the borough.
Information on cancer screening services, healthy eating and exercise will be available.
