AN AMBITIOUS new dating company from Leyton is hoping to unite singletons all over London.

Chris Hall, a businessman, launched his latest venture, Simply Date, from his Lea Bridge Road headquarters this week, pledging: "People have a much better chance with us, it's bound to happen."

Mr Hall believes that the unattached population of London is growing, in relation to the longer hours people are committing to their jobs.

He said: "London is a very difficult place to date because you have to sift through an awful lot of people who may not be suitable.

"Our job is not only to break the ice but to thaw it a little too. Our events will offer some subtle differences to our competitors."

That means they will employ ice-breaking activities during their sessions and eliminate cruel methods of rating prospective partners.

Staff will also ensure that everyone is mingling. The venues will mostly be in central London but potential for Leyton events is close to being realised.

Log on to the website www.simply-date.co.uk for further details. Register from June 24 for the inaugural event on August 4.
