RAMBLERS across Waltham Forest are being encouraged to fight for their footpaths.
The Ramblers Association launch an annual Footpaths Week, from June 19 to 25, warning local authorities that action is needed to stop the paths falling into disrepair, and, consequently, becoming unuseable.
The Ramblers Association urges people to sign an online petition at www.ramblers.org.uk, which it will send on to local authorities as part of their case for a better deal.
