TWO men were punched in an unprovoked attack in the beer garden of a Redbridge restaurant and pub.
The victims a 23-year-old from Chigwell and a 24-year-old from Ilford were sitting outside the Red House off Redbridge roundabout on Sunday, May 30 when they were approached by two men.
The pair approached them and said a few words before one of them punched one of the men on the forehead, causing him to fall back into his seat.
His accomplice then went over and punched the second man on the nose before the two made off in a white transit van.
The 23-year-old was left with a bruise to his forehead and a swollen nose and the 24-year-old was left with bruising to his face after the double assault.
Both of the culprits were white and the first was around 25 years old, 5ft 10ins tall and wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a grey t-shirt. His accomplice was around 28 years of age, 5ft 10ins tall, had a receding hairline and was wearing a football shirt.
