PUPILS at Davenant Foundation School in Loughton are celebrating after being crowned the best badminton players in Essex for the second year running.
Three teams including girls and boys in years seven to nine, and boys in years ten and 11, all came out top in the county finals, and will now go on to represent Essex in the regional finals on March 5 in Cambridge.
There will also be an opportunity for them to qualify for the Centre Parcs National Competition organised by the Badminton Association of England.
