BUSINESSES in the borough will be able to take advantage of all the internet has to offer thanks to a new website.
The council has launched the Redbridge Business Network to give businesspeople access to important contacts and information about opportunities to give themselves and their businesses a boost as the country moves out of recession.
Business that register can post an online company profile to outline their products and services, and get in touch with other firms.
They can also access information, contacts and free support in for developing their business.
Jim Ridley, Hainault Business Park manager, who was involved in the development of the Redbridge Business Network, said: "The Redbridge Business Network aims to bring local businesses together into an effective online community.
"We all know businessmen and women have a lot of demands on their time, but we hope this site will make it easy for them to connect with each other and keep informed of the opportunities available in the market."
Hina Hussein, of the East London Business Place, said: "The Redbridge Business Network is a truly local achievement, built to help local businesses grow and prosper.
"It’s completely free to register with the site and with small and medium-sized Olympic contracts expected to be advertised soon, it’s a great time for local businesses to start making connections and promoting themselves in the market."
Businesspeople in the area can see what the new site has to offer at www.redbridgebusinessnetwork.co.uk.
