A GREYHOUND rehoming kennel is seeking owners to adopt a new intake of dogs.
Barley Kennels, formerly Walthamstow Owners Kennel, in Galley Hill, Waltham Abbey, homed 117 greyhounds in last year, but currently has 42 dogs awaiting their "forever" home.
The kennel still has six greyhounds that came in when the Walthamstow Stadium closed in August 2008.
Two new dogs are four-year-old Josh, and Pearl, aged two.
Kennel manager Joy Battley said: "We have dogs and bitches of varying ages and sizes who are all hoping the weather will improve soon so more visitors will come to see them and offer one of them a nice warm home."
The kennel is having an Open Day on Easter Sunday (April 4), from 11am to 3pm.
