COMMEMORATIVE pins for the 2012 Olympics featuring images of Woodford Green's statue of Winston Churchill will go on sale this month.
The statue, which celebrated its 50th birthday last year, was selected by residents as the symbol for Redbridge and is among other landmarks including the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey.
Sir Winston's image saw off competition from the likes of Ilford Town Hall to be made the borough's icon.
The final designs were revealed on Tuesday for the pins, which represent landmarks from each London's 32 boroughs.
They will go on sale around London in March.
