YOUNGSTERS from across the borough are set to receive their Duke of Edinburgh Awards at a special ceremony.

Redbridge participants in the scheme, which was founded in 1959, will be rewarded for their efforts at a presentation evening on Monday, March 22.

The programme is designed to promote the personal development of young people - with 275,000 working towards either its Bronze, Silver or Gold awards each year across the UK.

The presentation will take place at King George Express Holiday Inn, Newbury Park from 7.00pm until 9.30pm.
