HUNDREDS of thousands of people across the country will be running for Sport Relief on Sunday March 21 – and a plucky reporter from the Guardian will be one of them.
James Ranger will be running the 6 mile event in Epping, along with his mum who will be running the 1 mile distance, to raise a target of £500 for the important charity.
Sport Relief is part of Comic Relief, which every years raises millions of pounds for charities in the UK and overseas to help protect some of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people.
So whether it's helping to get a child off the dangerous streets Kenya or giving a young carer in the UK some much-needed respite from looking after their terminally-ill parent in the UK, every pound really will make a difference.
The Epping Mile takes place on Hemnall Street, just off Epping High Street, from 11am on Sunday March 21.
