HUNDREDS of young schoolchildren will head to a quiet corner of Woodford Green to see the results of all their green-fingered efforts last year.
Around 120 pupils from Churchfields School will return to Elmhurst Gardens in Gordon Road on Friday, March 19, for a return visit after planting dozens of plants and flowers in the park last year.
Claire Marriott, chair of the Friends of Elmhurst Gardens, said the pupils will also learn about some of the birds found around the park.
