MATCHING: New parish councillor elected

A NEW Parish Councillor has been elected to represent Matching.
Independent Michael Taylor beat rival Wendy Edwards in a by-election on Thursday (March 18), receiving 131 votes.
Ms Edwards got 72 votes.
The turnout was 38 per cent.
