A MAN has been stabbed to death yards from where a tourist was murdered two weeks ago.

The 32-year-old victim, who has not been named, was found with stab wounds at 11.55pm on Saturday in Gillards Mews, off High Street, Walthamstow.

He was rushed to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, but died at 5.38am yesterday.

Police are trying to trace the owner of a white burger van, which was parked in the street near to where the victim was found.

A post-mortem gave the cause of death as multiple injuries to the head and chest.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on Sunday and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

The latest killing happened a short distance from where Grenadan tourist Kelvin Francis was murdered on March 7.

Mr Francis was found bleeding to death outside the Captain Fish and Chip Shop, in High Street.

David Kazim, 23, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and will appear at the Old Bailey on June 18.

Lisa Donegan 21, of Lordship Lane in Wood Green, is accused of perverting the cause of justice and will appear alongside him.
