ENTHUSIASTIC, patient and fun people who are interested in a career in childcare have been offered a free one-day workshop to learn more about working with children.
Four sessions have been organised throughout Hertfordshire to give an overall view of what it is like to work with children, the qualifications needed and the grants available.
The Choices in Childcare workshops have been organised by Young in Herts and are designed to be informal, informative and fun.
The workshops will run on Tuesday, September 14, at the Ellen Terry Studio, Stevenage Leisure Centre; Saturday, September 18, at Watford Leisure Centre; Thursday, September 23, at the Dacorum Room, Dacorum Borough Council, Hemel Hempstead; and Wednesday, October 6, at Bishop's College, Cheshunt.
Places must be booked in advance. All sessions run from 9.30am to 3.30pm and lunch is included. For more information and bookings contact Cathy Copeland on 01920 462839.
