POLICE are trying to trace a murder victim's mobile phone.

Alvydas Miksys, 32, who police believe was living in Stratford, was found with head and chest injuries in Gillards Mews, near High Street, shortly before midnight on March 20 and died the next day.

Mr Miksys' silver LG KG290 mobile phone has never been recovered and police are asking anyone who may have found it, or bought it, to come forward.

Anyone with information about the killing of Mr Miksys should call police on 8345 1585 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Lithuanian nationals Titas Januskevicius, 22, of Markhouse Avenue, Walthamstow and Sigitas Grigaliunas, 31, of Rochester Avenue, West Ham, are accused of murdering Alvydas Miksys and appeared before Waltham Forest Magistrates Court on Monday.
