A LOUGHTON dental surgery has been presented with an award by the British Dental Association.
The Station Road Dental Practice brushed up on its patient care and is now one of only 300 practices in the UK to be given a good practice plaque.
Practice manager Tanya Sawyer said: "This took a tremendous amount of time and hard work by all the staff and we're pleased the effort has been rewarded. We take pride in offering the highest standard of dentistry using modern equipment and materials. Station Road has warm, friendly staff and a relaxed and homely environment that is especially welcoming for nervous patients."
The Good Practice Scheme is a self-audit tool in which the practice had to comply with current legal requirements and nationally-recognised standards of good practice.
The surgery was required to check 96 aspects and compile a dossier of evidence.
