VISITORS to Gilwell Park got double vision when families with twins, triplets and even larger numbers of siblings enjoyed a big day out.
The event celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Twins And Multiple Births Association (TAMBA). Children from around London were there on the day and enjoyed playing in the fresh air and making new friends.
Waltham Forest Twins and Triplets Club was one of the first support groups for families with multiple birth children. It was launched by June Tatch, who was also involved in setting up TAMBA.
The Waltham Forest Twins and Triplets Club meets at St Gabriel's Family Centre, Havant Road, Walthamstow. Regular toy and book sales are organised by the club and the money raised is used to support its work helping families.
At the recent event in Gilwell Park, Mrs Tatch gave a speech and the families enjoyed meeting each other and playing on the bouncy castles.
