MOONWALKING at midnight is the activity one keen fundraiser will take part in to collect money for a breast cancer charity.
Fiona Wassell, 22, of Mount Pleasant Road, Chingford, will walk 26 miles in Scotland's first power walking marathon, The Moonwalk Edinburgh, on June 24.
No running is allowed in the event, which will see competitors walking the walk overnight dressed in decorated bras in aid of the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Ms Wassell is finding time to squeeze in a training regime while working as a sales representative for a toy company in Leyton and, when evening comes around, as an assistant manager at the Royal Forest Hotel in Rangers Road, Chingford.
She said: "I've never done this kind of thing before but some of my friends got me interested and now there's no going back.
"On the day I will meet up with my mum and a friend and we will do the race together, although we are training separately because we live in different parts of the country."
Ms Wassell is searching for sponsors. Contact her on 079305 00427.
