Coming Up...
Two well established local drama groups have forthcoming productions planned. Firstly, Drama Workshop of Waltham Forest will be performing Rick Abbot's comedy Play On. This three act play tells the story of a drama company's attempts to stage a play and all the problems that it brings. The performances will be at Guildford Road Community Centre on May 19-21 at 8pm.
Another great comedy; Willy Russell's Educating Rita, the ever popular story of one woman's struggle to create a better life for herself through higher education, is to be performed by the Global Theatre Company. Performances are to be held at the Harlow Playhouse Studio, Playhouse Square, Harlow - Thursday May 25 to Saturday May 27, all commencing at 7.45pm. Tickets cost £8.50 and £7.00 (concs.)
