REDBRIDGE'S finest young cricketers will be travelling to the home of the sport at Lords cricket grounds in Marylebone as part of the London Youth Games.
A preliminary round saw the boys team beat rivals from Wandsworth, Enfield, and Barking and Dagenham, while the girls saw off Bexley and Sutton.
Redbridge are currently the reigning youth games champions and will be defending their title in 31 disciplines.
Both the boys and the girls cricket teams will now compete in the finals at Lords indoor cricket school on Saturday.
