A YOUTH football club which faced closure when their headquarters ground at Debden was sold has now been saved by a nearby adult sports club.
Things looked bleak for the fledgling Debden United (members pictured left) after the sale of the Britannia Sports Ground over a year ago.
But the club, originally set up under the initiative of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership at Epping Forest Council, survived thanks to Debden Sports Club who provided facilities.
