IT was a busy two weeks for residents at Paternoster House, Waltham Abbey, as they celebrated Easter and the Queen's birthday.
Residents enjoyed a joint St George's Day and Queen's 80th birthday party on Friday with Union flag decorations, tea, cake and a toast to the Queen.
The week before the residential home held a series of Easter activities including an Easter hat parade and Easter egg hunt.
The best hat award was taken by Jean Bullock, James Cargill won the prize for collecting the most coloured eggs and Dorothy Wicks found the golden egg.
Prize winners received a Cadbury's chocolate egg.
