THE weekly shop was made much more fun for children at the Sainsbury supermarket in Torrington Drive, Loughton, when they had the chance to have their faces painted.
The branch launched its Sport Relief events and activities with the face painting stand and raised £50.
Store manager Helen Green said: "The children had the St George flag painted on their faces and it was a really successful day because it got people thinking about children and giving again."
