RESIDENTS can have fun in the forest this summer thanks to a new and varied programme of events.
Open-air performances in Wanstead Park, craft activities at the Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge, and midsummer storytelling are just some of the activities lined up.
People can also enjoy a guided walk, bike ride or horse ride, or visit the tree creature exhibition at the visitor centre.
The main event will be the Epping Forest Festival from 11am to 4pm at Chingford Plain, which will include medieval jousing, a pipe band and dog agility.
To find out more, ring the visitor centre on 8508 0028 or email epping.forest@cityoflondon.gov.uk
