Ongar Juniors U10s 3. Springfield 0 (Chelmsford Youth League U10 Knock-Out Cup): Ongar sealed the double this season with an excellent performance in this cup final.
Ongar took an early lead when skipper Jordan Albert drilled the ball towards the goal and the Springfield defender couldn't do anything with it except hit it into his own net.
Ongar played some finely-flowing football and had the majority of the play.
Forward Thomas Lapslie was on fire and soon made it 2-0.
At half time Ongar made some changes and soon got their rhythm going with Lapslie scoring again to make it 3-0.
Ongar were then in comfort mode and were just stroking the ball around the pitch and enjoying every minute of the game.
Ongar's team squad of Henry Angove, Billy Hendy, Jordan Albert, Harry Cochrane, Thomas Lapslie, Jamie Wright, Harry Ellis, Ronny Jenner and David Lewis sealed a great season.
Coach Gary Albert said afterwards: "I am very proud of the boys and am now looking forward to next season when the boys go to the 11-a-side game."
Ongar Juniors U8: The juniors finished off a winning season when they returned from the Butlins Bognor Tournament of Football with a huge trophy which they won as U8 seaside champions.
In total the squad played six matches, winning four and drawing two.
A 2-0 victory in their last game gave them the trophy.
That success capped a season which started with the U8s' cup win in the Maldon Floodlit tournament, followed by a championship season in the Chelmsford and District Youth League.
The squad consisted of Jack Sharp, Joe Jenner, Jack Cooke, George Lapsley, Charlie Wood, Johnathan Jones, Matthew Romang and Danny Gould.
