THE pub trade will be the focus of a museum exhibition.

Staff at Vestry House Museum, in Vestry Road, Walthamstow, have teamed up with history groups for an exhibition focusing on the borough’s pub trade and are calling on residents past and present for help.

Entitled 'Behind The Bar: The Licensed Trade In Waltham Forest', the exhibition will include tales of brewers, landlords and customers.

The museum's archivists are asking residents to lend photographs, adverts and other pub trade memorabilia from the borough to help make the exhibition as comprehensive as possible.

The exhibition will go on display in October.

For more information, contact the Museum on 8496 3000 or by email at vhm.enquiries@walthamforest.gov.uk.
