POLICE are hunting a pair of violent robbers who attacked a man in front of his wife and children in broad daylight.
The victim and his wife, both 31, were with their children at a bus stop in Aldersbrook Road, Wanstead, on Monday April 12 at around 3:45pm, when they were approach by two men.
One flashed a knife at the man and threatened him as he demanded his wallet. When he victim refused and was beaten around his head.
The assault only stopped when a bus pulled up, at which point the thugs ran off into nearby Brading Crescent.
Both men are described as being of eastern European origin. One was wearing a tracksuit top and a which checked scarf, while the other was wearing brown trousers and jacket.
