A CHILDREN'S Hospice has organised a charity day at the races to raise much-needed funds for its work.
Haven House Children's Hospice in Woodford Green High Road is inviting racing fans to visit them for a champagne breakfast before heading off to Royal Ascot on Tuesday June 15.
Jane Steward, of Haven House, said: "The coach departs for the journey to Ascot at 9am.
"With all the glamour that Ascot is renowned for it promises to be a day to remember.
"After the last race, the coach departs back to Woodford where, for those keen to continue into the evening, there is even the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary drink at the RS Lounge in Woodford New Road."
