TWO dads groups were launched in the borough last week.
The groups have been started to create a place for dads to take their children at weekends to help them get involved in childcare and for them to meet other dads.
A fun day was held at Barclay Children's Centre in Leyton to launch its new Saturday group on May 22.
Children took part in face painting, competitions, football and other activities at the centre in Canterbury Road.
Last Thursday, the Sunbeam nursery, at William Morris Community Centre, in Green Leaf Road, Walthamstow, also launched its new dads group with a fun day.
