A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital last night after colliding with a car on the North Circular.

The A406 was closed between the Crooked Billet roundabout and the junction with the A1009 at Hall Lane after the crash, which occurred at around 7.20pm on Thursday.

The male rider was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, believed to be multiple fractures to his arm.

The road was opened again to traffic shortly after 9pm.
