A LOUGHTON firm received a regional award for its professionalism and customer service.
Training provider UKE Learning, based in Langston Road, is celebrating after being honoured at the London learndirect Achievement Awards ceremony.
UKE Learning was highly commended in the Working with Employers Award.
The award recognises learning centres that work effectively with businesses and their employees.
UKE Learning provides an advice service to more than 400 employers, delivering a variety of qualifications to their learners.
Now in its fourth year, the learndirect Achievement Awards recognise the achievements of people learning with learndirect, businesses training with learndirect, and the people and centres supporting them.
Nominees include learners who have overcome personal difficulties to learn and have gone on to find a job or move up in their career, as well as businesses who have thrived as a result of improving the skills and motivation of their workforce through learndirect.
The awards ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury.
